Scripts, struggle and general confusement. My PONG Story.

Okay! Where to begin?
Earlier during Prac 3, I found myself struggling to understand scripting.  I've never made a game in my life, so when I read Assignment 1, my heart leapt into my throat. I immediately began trying twice as hard to work out how to understand scripting and coding, but with other assignments and day to day life it didn't seem like it was going to be a reality. After floundering about in Unity for a hefty amount of time, I swallowed my pride (and frustrations) and had a look at some tutorials on the internet. I came across BMo's "Making PONG in 6 Minutes" tutorial on YouTube, and used this to help with the pong script and it worked amazingly. It allowed me to create a fully functional game of Pong, while also acting as a learning experience (diagnosing what i had entered wrong in scripts, understanding GameManager etc).

Finally, I re-used the scene switcher script from the UI prac for a simple menu. All other scripts are credited to BMo.

P.S: For some reason, when I uploaded the WebGL version of the game on to itch.io, the G from PONG has been removed and the aspect ratio is incorrect, despite being set properly. It is still playable when expanded but for the best experience, the Unity file would be the preferred method.
